October 2011: Accommodations in the Classroom - Honore Weiner and Tracy Evans Luiselli

Honore Weiner was affiliated with the C.A.S.E. Collaborative Program for Hearing/Speech/Language Impaired for 32 years, serving as Program Administrator for most of that time. Currently she applies her extensive experience in educational programming as Education Director at the Decibels Foundation, consulting to school districts and offering in-service training for staff, to support successful transitions to mainstreaming and continued progress for students who use cochlear implants and/or hearing aids.

Tracy Evans Luiselli received her M. Ed. in Deafblind Education at Boston College and her doctorate in Early Childhood/Special Education from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. Tracy has experience teaching children who are deafblind in a variety of settings (e.g. public schools and home based settings). She served as adjunct faculty at Boston College and Simmons College. Tracy has presented and written extensively and is certified in Low Vision, Moderate Special Needs, Intensive Special Needs and Elementary Education.
