Help Us Find the Stars of Our First Guide Dog Calendar!

2027 Guide Dogs of USH Calendar Submissions Are Open! October 2026 Usher Syndrome Coalition

Guide dogs are trusted partners every day of the year, but do they have what it takes to be calendar models? We're creating the first Guide Dogs of USH Calendar, and we need your help to make it happen.

If you have a guide dog, we'd love to feature them! Working, retired, and in-training guide dogs from the USH community are all welcome. Twelve dogs will be chosen by community vote to appear in the calendar. 

If you don't have a guide dog, you can still help:

  • Share this email with a guide dog handler you know
  • Vote for your favorites from October 16 to 23
  • Buy a calendar when it's available in our USH Shop. A portion of every sale supports the Usher Syndrome Coalition.

How it works

  • Deadline: Submissions close at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 15.
  • Community Vote: From October 16 to 23, the USH community will vote for their favorites. The top 12 dogs will be featured in the 2027 calendar!
  • Prize: Each of the 12 winners gets a free printed calendar.

Photo requirements

  • Your dog only, with no people in the photo.
  • Horizontal (landscape) photos only.
  • High-resolution for printing (300 dpi, at least 3300 x 2500 pixels). Most phone cameras meet this if you send the original photo, not a screenshot or cropped version.
  • It's fine to ask a friend or family member to help take or send the photo.
  • One photo per dog.

By submitting a photo, by form or by email, you agree to the use of the photo for the calendar and social media.

Don't have a Google account? Email your photo to info@usher-syndrome.org instead. Please include your name, your dog's name, whether your dog is working, retired, or in training, and one or two sentences describing the photo.

The link to vote will go live October 16!
