The Usher Syndrome Coalition is proud to announce a partnership with Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly) and Akouos, a hearing research company. Akouos is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lilly, which means it’s part of Eli Lilly. This partnership will help guide research efforts focused on hearing loss caused by Usher syndrome type 3A (USH3A). It also reflects a shared commitment to ensure that the voices and experiences of those living with USH3A are represented as research moves forward.

With your support, the Usher Syndrome Coalition has been steadily building the USH Trust since 2011, ensuring that the community is ready for opportunities like this. Because of you, we are an invaluable partner for research companies that are prioritizing clinical trials, seeking potential participants, and determining locations to launch these trials. And remember - your personal information is never shared outside of the Coalition without your consent!

Stay informed: Join the USH Trust, or update your information - especially your Usher type, birthdate, and current address - to receive the latest research news, resources, and opportunities related to your specific type of Usher syndrome.
