The Usher Syndrome Coalition presents the 8th Annual Usher Syndrome Family Conference, held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Seattle, Washington. This one-day annual family conference is the largest gathering in the Usher community, a place for individuals with Usher syndrome, family members, friends and professionals to learn about the latest advances in Usher syndrome research.

USH2017: Our 9th Annual USH Connections Conference will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois.


ABOUT THE USHER SYNDROME COALITION:

Usher syndrome is most common genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness. About 400,000 people are affected by this genetic disorder worldwide, with an estimated 50,000 people in the United States. 

The Usher Syndrome Coalition's mission is to raise awareness and accelerate research for the most common cause of combined deafness and blindness, while providing information and support to individuals and families affected by Usher syndrome.

The Usher Syndrome Coalition brings together the passion and expertise of families and prominent researchers from around the world in an urgent movement to find a cure.
