Transcript: Hi. My name is Amy Shamburger. I'm Deaf and have Usher syndrome. I'm the Louisiana ambassador for the Usher Syndrome Coalition. My journey as a DeafBlind person has been very difficult...a real challenge. I'm studying to become a social worker because I want to help the DeafBlind community improve access to jobs, communication, and to achieve equity. I'm here to help people who have Usher syndrome, and families who have children with Usher syndrome, to help provide proper resources, mentor them, and make sure that their lives are better than mine! Contact your Louisiana Ambassador if you need help! Thank you!!
